Michele is a graduate of Western Oregon University where she earned her BS degree in Secondary Education. Mrs. Stein has been a part of Faith Christian School since 1983 when the school began. Her own children attended here and she has taught several different grade levels throughout the years. She loves the school very much and believes in its mission with her whole heart. She has been married to her college sweetheart, John Stein, for the past 39 years. They have two grown children who are both married and live close by with their five beautiful granddaughters and handsome grandson. She would love to talk with you if you ever have questions about Christian education or are interested in enrolling your child.
When you stop by the school office you’ll be greeted with a warm smile from Juli. If you have questions about FCS, Juli has answers. She oversees the front office, does everything from greeting students to taking tuition payments and everything in between. Juli is an Oregon native and a graduate of George Fox University. She enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking and hunting. Married to Stanton, they have three grown daughters who attended Faith Christian School.
Stephanie Earhart was born and raised in Dallas. She met her husband in the second grade at Lyle Elementary. She graduated from Oregon State with a B.A. in Asian Studies and got her Masters Degree in Business Administration. Her three children started at FCS 12 years ago, and her two oldest have graduated and now attend Dallas High School. She is a great asset to Faith Christian School in so many ways! You will see her happy face on Fridays in the office doing a multitude of responsibilities including teaching the Leadership Class for 8th graders and the Marketing Class for 7th graders. Stephanie has served as a leader in our Parent Teacher Fellowship for the past 11 years and has been the driving force behind our annual auction.
Preschool 3 & 4 year olds
Rashelle has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has taught the Preschool 3’s & 4’s class at Faith Christian School since 2005. She loves sharing in their wonder and excitement about the world around them, and feels privileged to be a part of their first school experience! A native of Dallas, Rashelle and her husband, Carl, love raising their two daughters in their hometown with both of their families close by. Rashelle enjoys spending time with her family, scrap-booking, and reading. “I feel blessed to be a part of Faith Christian School and to be sharing the love of Jesus with young children every day.”
3rd grade teacher
Beth Stein grew up in Dallas where she attended Dallas High School. She went on to earn her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University and later her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Willamette University. She has been teaching the Kindergarten class here at Faith Christian School since 2010. Beth is so happy to be able to teach in a school where she can share her love of Jesus with her students. She is married to T.J. Stein and has three small daughters, Kennedy, Charlotte, and their new little sweetie Violet.
Afternoon Enrichment Program (3-5 years)
Jill Pfankuch is the teacher of the afternoon Enrichment class for Preschool and Kindergarten students. Jill has over 20 years experience working with children from infancy to school-age. The majority of her education in Early Childhood Education is from Fullerton College, Jill also briefly attended Columbia Christian College. She has served as both teacher and administrator for a variety of programs and schools. Jill has done an amazing job in the first year of the Enrichment program at Faith and is excited to continue growing the program this year.
West Salem is home for Jill, her husband Bill, and their daughter Emily. They attend Faith Evangelical Free church and “Emmy” is a student at Faith.
Emily Halligan graduated from Oregon State University with her bachelors in Early Childhood Development and Social Work. She received her Masters in Teaching from Willamette University in 2006. She has been teaching for the last 9 years. Emily grew up at Faith Christian School attending from preschool through 6th grade. Emily’s passion is taking care of the orphans of the world and she brings this passion into her classroom. She is married to Zach and they have three children, two of which are attending FCS. She is looking forward to her year with the first grade!
Melissa graduated from Western Oregon University in 2008 with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She is very passionate about teaching. Melissa was delighted to teach the PE last year and is now teaching 2nd grade. “I am so excited and honored to share both my love for teaching and my love for Christ with the students and staff at Faith Christian School.” Melissa lives in Dallas with her husband Shane and two small boys. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Rebecca Moore has lived in Dallas since 1999 when she married her husband Tom. They have four beautiful children who all attend Faith Christian School. You will find her happily working throughout our campus as her jobs are many here at FCS! She is our number one aide as she works with all the teachers and grades during her week. Her other duties include teaching keyboarding skills in our computer classes and supervising the playground. If you ask her if she loves her job, she would reply that it doesn’t get better than being able to work at your children’s school!
Heather Ivey has a BA in Elementary Education from Northwest Christian University, and is currently working on her Master of Education degree at Cedarville University. She has been teaching since 2002, and began teaching at Faith in 2006. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Tim, and two children, Kiersten and Caleb, who both attend FCS.

Kristen Huber is excitedly returning to the FCS faculty this year as the 5th and 6th grade teacher, as well as having the privilege to teach algebra (one of her favorite things) to our 8th graders. She is the wife of Steve Huber (married in 2003), and they have 3 sweet and fun-loving children: Gavin, Micah and Hattie. She lives in Dallas and is a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church.
Kristen completed her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Western Oregon University in 2003, and her master’s degree in teaching was earned in 2004. She taught middle school math for two years at the Willamina School District, and left that position when she had her first child to stay “mostly” at home. Since then she has subbed at multiple locations (mostly elementary), including FCS. She has also tutored for both the Dallas School District in all subject matter and privately in Math. The fulfillment and joy she found in teaching elementary and middle school age students led her to add both of these levels to her Oregon teaching license in 2010. Kristen loves the Lord, loves teaching and loves Faith Christian School. It is an answer to years of prayer that she now re-enters the career field as a teacher at FCS.
7th & 8th Grades
6th Grade & Librarian
Suzy was born and raised in the California Bay area. She was raised in a Christian home, and was privileged to attend Christian schools from K-12th grade. She made the decision to accept Christ at a very young age, and recommitted her life to Christ and was baptized in college.
Suzy has many years of experience teaching and working with children in several different settings. From working as a counselor in middle school youth group for 9 years, to directing children’s theater, to teaching P.E., coaching, and substitute teaching in both public and private schools for many years. She has also had the opportunity to direct the Christmas show, Vacation Bible School and Sports/Fine Art Camp at Crace Church the last four years.
Suzy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a Kinesiology option from the California State University in Hayward, California. Suzy’s husband of 14 years is a deputy at the Polk County Jail, and they have two boys.
Kylie Hineman (soon to be Kylie Beeghly, as she will be married to David Beeghly in March, 2017) graduated from Corban University in Salem with a B.S. Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Elementary Education & Psychology in 2016. Kyle grew up in Snohomish, Washington, on a small farm, and came to Salem to attend college, then moved to Dallas to teach Kindergarten. “The Lord clearly led me to the Kindergarten teaching position at Fatih and I have been thoroughly enjoying the community of Faith Christian School and the City of Dallas! When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, and training service dogs.”
