| Mr. Steve Allen
Guitar and Classroom Aide
God has given me a humble portion of musical talent. Yet, He has given me many opportunities to put that humble talent to use in His service. With each opportunity God gives me to serve, He blesses my efforts beyond my abilities. Together, the Lord and I, write songs of praise, lead people, young and old, in singing praises to Him and teach others to play the guitar for the purpose of praising Him. My wife Jacque and I are active in sharing the Gospel and encouraging believers through song at various venues God provides. We do all this for the sake of the Gospel that we may share in its blessings.

Library and Classroom Aide
While I have spent 25 years in radio, and most of that in Christian radio, it was while working at Target in Washington where I believe that the Lord laid it on my heart to go into children's ministries. After watching kids with their parents, it broke my heart that many of them would never know the joy of the Lord or have a relationship with him. I enrolled in the Art Institute of Seattle to learn computer animation and hoping that I could get hired by Big Idea Productions, which produces Veggie Tales. I earned a AA Degree in Multi-Media. Next to the Lord the children are most important. If we don't bring them up to serve and fear the Lord, who will be the next generation of church leaders? It has been a blessing to be here helping work with the kids. In fact, a couple of the first graders asked me if I were coming back next year. I am looking forward to having my small part in the Lord's work here at Faith Christian School.
Matthew19:14 But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming from Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these".

P.E. Teacher
In addition to his responsibilities as Associate Pastor at Faith Evangelical Free Church and being a part of the school's Administrative Team, Pastor Ed volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays to teach physical education to the students of Faith Christian School. He enjoys the interaction with the students and feels the development of their physical and emotional being is an important aspect of their education. Pastor Ed said, "often in the heat of physical competition character traits rise to the surface that may be dormant in the classroom." Pastor Ed is married to Connie and has three grown children. In his free time, Pastor Ed enjoys woodworking and taking walks on the Oregon Coast with Connie.
